You’ll have to excuse all the exclamation points, we’re unbelievably excited to launch our first Course-in-a-Box for Medication Aides!!!!

What is a Course-in-a-Box? It’s a set of products designed to cover all the necessities in a Medication Aide program so you don’t need to do an unreasonable amount of planning.

What does it include?

For Medication Aide programs (QMAP, QMA, CMA, MA-C), we include:

ChartFlow’s Medication Aide Handbook is designed to be used as a comprehensive textbook for Medication Aide students. Students can also purchase it separately for MACE prep.
Access to ChartFlow for students to use a realistic patient chart, orders section, and electronic medication administration record (eMAR).
10 hours of skills lab activity plans included, 2.5 hours of virtual labs. These are set up as activities in ChartFlow so you don’t need to do anything but allow access to your students when they log in to ChartFlow.io. We also give instructors access to written Lab and Activity Plans that describe the setup, objectives, and discussion/debrief questions for each activity.
A set of simulation medications for your school to use that line up with our labs including Wallcur Practi-meds™ and other simulated products.

Optional: We can suggest med carts/cabinets, and/or sell you a package of general lab materials if needed. We did not include these in the default package since many schools already have access to a medication cart in their skills lab, as well as a general supply of gloves, gowns, and medicine cups.

Document that matches our materials to the NCSBN Model Curriculum for Medication Aide programs. Many states use this as a guide for their Medication Aide requirements so it’s easy to copy our document into your curriculum map.
