We're celebrating Healthcare Simulation Week by doing what we do best: making simulations more realistic while helping programs save money.
Medication Cabinet Guide & Webinar
We first announced our Medication Cabinet last month. This new feature allows you to manage the inventory of any cart or cabinet, simulating the workflow of real medication dispensing systems.
If you've shopped around for a cabinet in the past, you know prices can range from $10,000 to $50,000+. At ChartFlow, this feature is available at no additional cost for our existing customers!
Last month, we promised Help Guides & Webinars were coming soon. Here they are:
Here's a link to our Medication Cabinet Help Guide
We'll also be hosting a webinar on Wednesday, September 30th at 12:00 PM ET. The webinar will be recorded and published on YouTube. We'll be sure to send a link to the recording in our October newsletter.
New Screenings & Forms
We're always expanding our flowsheets, screenings, and patient forms. Here's what's new in the last month:
- Gordon's Functional Health Patterns
- The AHC Health-Related Social Needs Tool (for social determinants of health)
- PC-PTSD-5
And a few new patient forms for our Medical Assistant programs:
- Superbill
- CMS-1500
- Improvements to our New Patient Medical Intake Form: HIPAA Authorization Form, Medical Treatment Consent Form, and Medical Insurance Billing Consent
Improved Patient Search
Our Patient Template Search feature is now better than ever!
You can search in a more descriptive way, such as "elderly patient on blood thinners" or "pediatric patient with diarrhea."
From your Instructor Home Page, click Templates & Patient Templates to try out the new search. It works for system patients and any patients created by your program.
Faster Loading Times
You may have noticed ChartFlow is loading faster than ever before. After an infrastructure upgrade in August, we're now seeing 50-75% faster loading times throughout our EHR!
You'll find the biggest improvement in areas such as Copying & Editing Patient Templates, loading imaging, and grading.
Coming Soon
As always, there's more on the way.
We have a Provider feature coming soon that will allow you to create a library of clinicians to be used for patient template creation. Once this is released, you'll be able to leave notes, orders, and other documentation from a mock physician, nurse, respiratory therapist, etc.
So instead of seeing your name on every time stamp, your students will see, "Jalen Brunson, MD" or "Jane Doe, RN."
