Academic EHRs have been around since the late 2000s. Initially developed by some of the major publishers, there have been a number of systems created to simulate the major inpatient & outpatient EHRs. The challenge has been finding a free version that’s quick and easy-to-use.
Incorporating a free simulated EHR
Designed as a modern & affordable option, ChartFlow’s free version can be used in the following scenarios:
- Instructors can create a free account to incorporate into their lectures for Case Study review.
- Students can access pre-built Courses to practice reviewing a patient’s health record and documenting new information.
- Coming Soon: OpenRN Scenarios are available for Instructors & Students to utilize together.
What’s the catch?
ChartFlow’s paid version allows Instructors to create Courses, Activities, Patient Templates, and Grade Student documentation. Instructor accounts are always free while Student licenses start at just $15 for 6 months of access.
How do I get started?
As an Instructor, you can visit our website to Create a Free Trial Account. This account will provide you with full access to incorporate ChartFlow into your lectures, either in-person or virtually with Students.
As a Student, you can Create a New Student Account and enter Code a75359acb5 to access our free pre-built Course. We welcome Educators to explore this as well!
