ChartFlow Team
We’d like to thank everyone who contributed to our BLS Medication Guide and helped make it a reality.
ChartFlow’s BLS Provider Medication Guide
As you may have heard, we recently published our BLS Provider Medication Guide that can be used as a study and reference tool for EMT-B and most AEMT students. It includes medications that are commonly tested on the NREMT exam and/or allowed through the majority of local protocols in the United States for BLS level providers.
We’re so excited to share this project with you that we’ve made the digital version free through Amazon for anyone with a Kindle Unlimited account.
You’ll also find the paperback version available for only $3.99!

Please review our work and let us know how we did. We love good reviews, but if you have constructive feedback, you can also send it to hello@chartflow.io so we can incorporate it into updated editions.
Special Thank You to our Editors!
While we have the chance, we want to thank the people who helped us make this book happen.
Outside of the writer, Nikki Yeager, we had two incredible editors fact check and correct any errors in guidelines or info.
First of all, Perry Putnam’s feedback was indispensable. It’s his huge wealth of experience and knowledge that helped perfect so many sections in this guide and we highly suggest anyone looking to pursue an EMS education check into his program at Everrett Community College.
Here’s his bio for more information:
Perry Putnam is the Class Coordinator and Lead Instructor for Everett Community College’s Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program. Perry holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Paramedicine, a Bachelor of Arts degree in Law and Justice, and a Master degree in Public Administration. He has also completed the 4-year Executive Fire Officer Program from the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, Maryland. When he is not instructing at Everett Community College, he serves as a Battalion Chief Snohomish Regional Fire and Rescue, where he started as a paramedic in 1996.
Secondly, Jocelyn Wensel, MA was so helpful in fact-checking and general editing. She’s a second year medical student at the International University of Health Sciences and has such a broad swatch of experience from working as an Editor for AMSA's The New Physician from 2021-2023 to acting as SNMA CSMP Curriculum and Program Design Coordinator from 2022-2023.
She provided us with the detail oriented review every good book needs and we can’t thank her enough.
Coming up—ChartFlow’s Guide for Certified Medication Aides
While this book only needed a small team, we’re already working on our Certified Medication Assistant/Certified Medication Aide med guide and it needs a substantial crew to fact check, edit, and verify data due to the fact it covers the top 100-200 medications used in the United States.
We’ve already employed the help of M.D.s, DNPs, and professional editors, but we’re looking for pharmacists and specialists who would be willing to review specific sections (for example, a cardiologist who can check out the relevance and accuracy of our cardiac meds and descriptions).
If you’d be willing to help please email us at hello@chartflow.io
