Our favorite website, MedGames.io, just added three new games! If you're in nursing or medical school and studying bacteria, antibiotics, viruses, and antivirals, check out the games below.
1. Gram Positive or Gram Negative Bacteria Whack-a-Mole
There are two options for this game: either find the gram positive bacteria as they pop up, or find the gram negative bacteria. Gram stains are one of the most common tests used to identify bacteria species, so you should be able to categorize all common bacteria by gram stain results.
2. Identify the bacteria drag-and-drop game
If the first game is too easy for you, this game requires you to know even more. You'll see an image of bacteria pop up with basic information about it listed below. Choose which bacteria species it is based on the image and information.
3. What kind of medication is it?
Sort images of common medications into three categories: antiviral, antibiotic, antifungal, and anthelmintic. If you're looking for more drug class review on a slightly deeper level check out this older game that lets you practice your knowledge of drug types.
Good luck!
