We’re thrilled to present a major update packed with new features, flowsheets, screenings, content, and more. This release puts the finishing touches on ChartFlow 2.0—just in time for the Fall Semester! Check out the full list of new additions below 👇
New Features & Improvements
- Improved Order & Medication Sorting: Our most requested feature this year—Orders now sort chronologically on both the Orders page and the MAR! This should make it easier for students to find the Orders they need, especially with new Events that are released during Simulation
- Revamped Help Site: Check out our new & improved help site with clickthrough guides making it simple & easy to learn our system.
- SAML: We now support Single Sign-On (SSO) via SAML. We know this is a requirement for many of our schools, especially larger Universities. If you'd like to enable this sign-on method for your organization, just put us in touch with your IT Team and we'll handle the rest!
- Sorting for Instructor View Tables: These include the Course & Activity pages, templates, users, and more. You can now sort by clicking on any column header, making it easier to find exactly what you're looking for.
- Course Archiving: Courses now automatically disappear from the Instructor Home Page if they are past their end date. The Courses page is where you'll find all your old classes.
New EHR Content
- Pediatric Assessment: You'll find our new Pediatric Assessment under flowsheets in both Inpatient & Outpatient Visits. Stay tuned as we'll also be updating all of our lab normal ranges in the next month.
- New Screenings: Mental Status Exam, Katz Index of ADL, Clinical Opiate Withdrawal Scale, and SBIRT for Eating Disorders have all been added.
- New Interventions: We've also been expanding our Interventions with places to document Blood Administration, Surgical Drains, PEG Tubes, Restraints, and more.
New Templates
- Patients: Our patient library now includes 71 pre-built scenarios with another 10 due to be released in the next few weeks. We've also created a spreadsheet that makes it easy to find the exact scenario you're looking for. If you’re an instructor currently using ChartFlow or evaluating our system for adoption, send us an email to hello@chartflow.io for access to the sheet.
- Courses & Activities: You'll find our new MedAide Course + Activities now available! If you didn't catch our newsletter last week, we also published our first textbook, a Medication Aide Handbook!
New Templates
- Pocket Nurse Demo Dose Medications: We're about 80% of the way to integrating Demo Dose medications into ChartFlow.
- New Patients: We continue to expand our patient template library, adding 1 or 2 new scenarios each week (typically on Friday.) Expect 80 scenarios by September and close to 100 by the end of the year!
