This post is for both students and teachers. Over time, we’ll be expanding this post to include additional resources, examples, and patients in ChartFlow that you could try for free!
Wikimedia
If you’re looking to practice interpreting ultrasound, CT, or MRI images, a great place to start is Wikimedia commons. Search for images by type or diagnosis, and then select “no restrictions” under licensing type and you’re free to use them however you’d like
Here are some examples that you’re welcome to use:
Projectional rendering of CT scan of thorax by Mikael Häggström
Beating heart from 3T MRI scanner by G.D. Clarke
Beating heart from 3T MRI scanner by G.D. Clarke
Radiopaedia
Another fantastic resource is Radiopaedia.org.
Radiopaedia’s mission is to create the best radiology reference the world has ever seen and to make it available for free, for ever, for all.
With over 54,000 cases and 16,000+ articles, you’ll find a wealth of information on their website. The best part is, it’s all free to use under their Creative Commons License.
Any other resources we should include?
Send us an email at hello@chartflow.io if there’s any imaging resources you think we should include in this post.
