Just in time for the Fall Semester, we have a number of new features & improvements to announce. Check out the full list below 👇
We just wrapped up a month of conferences—exhibiting at AARC Summer Forum, SimOps, and SimGHOSTS.
It was our first time unveiling ChartFlow and we're thrilled with the response we received. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth!
Here are the new features we released this week:
Scenario Clock
If you've spoken to me in the past month, you know just how excited I am for our new Scenario Clock!
While it might look like just a standard digital clock, it's actually the cornerstone of a series of simulation focused features that we're planning, including a simulation control panel, unfolding scenarios, and more.
The clock allows educators to set a fixed start time for their Patient Templates, making it easier to schedule medications and align our scenarios to your simulations.
New Patient Case Studies
Our team has been working towards our goal of 50 new patient scenarios by Fall. We're closing in around 44-45 at the time of this newsletter, with 3 more scenarios in the works.
Once we have this core 50 in place, we'll be updating the patient descriptions and creating additional resources to easily navigate and find the exact scenario you want.
New EMT Book Bundle
We published our first book!
Here's a link to our brand new BLS Medication Provider Guide, available free on Kindle Unlimited and just $3.99 in print.
Special thanks to our author & friend of the company Nikki Yeager.
I'd also like to thank our fantastic editors Perry Putnam and Jocelyn Wensel.
As part of our BLS Med Guide launch, we’ve put together a bundle for EMT Programs that includes 20 books, 6 laminated scenarios, and corresponding Patients in ChartFlow.
This is just the first in a series of medication guides and bundles we're planning.
Up Next? Drug Guides for Medication Aides & Respiratory Therapy Students.
Misc Improvements & Fixes
Here's a list of small changes & improvements we made:
👉 Improved loading times for copying patients.
👉 Improved functionality of student loading patients & creating visits.
👉 Updates to the student home page, including improved logic for course end dates, activity visibility, and due dates.
👉 Improved mobile functionality to support smaller devices.
👉 Courses with more than 5 Activities now display a "View All Activities" button.
Coming Soon…
Based on the feedback we've received, we're working on a series of new features to make our EHR more powerful for Simulation and IPE.
Now that our clock is in place, we're developing a Simulation Control Panel that will allow you to create pre-built Orders, Labs, and other documentation that you can release during sim.
We're also partnering with practice medication providers to include their practi-meds in our formulary.
Upcoming Conferences
Looking ahead, here's our conference schedule into next Spring.
