We’ve been working with MedGames.io to create free, quality resources for healthcare and medical students and we’d love to share our new flashcard and game set with you all.
For anyone trying to memorize all those pesky abbreviations (we’re talking to you, CNAs, LPNs, RNs, Medication Aides, and Allied Health students), go to this link and you’ll see our free study set: https://www.medgames.io/medical-terminology-abbreviations
Once you click the link, you’ll see an option to “Start Game”.
If you’d like to change what type of game you’re playing, select a different option in the bottom right hand corner where it says “Select a Study Mode.” You can choose between:
1️⃣ Matching games.
Match the abbreviation to the term. This is fun to do in class if students are allowed access to their electronic devices. You can do a competition for who gets the fastest time.
2️⃣ Flashcards.
Cram medical abbreviations before an exam using these free flashcards.
3️⃣ Test
Quiz yourself or, if you’re an instructor, quiz your class. How well do you actually know the abbreviations?
If you like this, stay tuned for our our next post on flashcards for Drug Type / Drug Class.
As long as you keep using ‘em, we’ll keep building ‘em!
